* Exported from MasterCook * FDR'S FAVORITE PECAN PIE Recipe By : Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pies Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 Pastry for 9″ pie 1 t Butter 1 c Sugar -- brown 1 c Corn syrup 3 Eggs -- well beaten 1 t Vanilla 1 c Pecans -- halved or pieces Fat grams per serving: Approx. Cook Time: :50 Precook 9″ pastry shell for 5 minutes at 425F. (I use Speedy Pat-in-Pastry). Turn down oven to 350F. Cream butter and sugar, add syrup, eggs and vanilla. Mix well, then add pecans. Pour into prepared crust and bake in 350F oven till filling is firm, about 40 to 50 minutes.
