                              French Silk Pie

    4      squares       unsweetened chocolate
    1 1/2  sticks        butter -- softened
    1      cup           sugar
    2      teaspoons     vanilla
    4                    eggs
                         purchased chocolate crumb crust
                         whipped cream
                         chopped nuts
 
 Melt chocolate, let cool.  In small bowl, cream butter.  Add sugar,
 chocolate and vanilla; beat till light and fluffy.  Add eggs, beat until
 smooth and thick.  Pour into pie crust.  Chill 4-5 hours.  Garnish with
 whipped cream and chopped nuts.
