* Exported from MasterCook * Pineapple Pie Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pies Fruits Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- Pastry for 2 crust pie 1 cup Sugar 1/4 teaspoon Salt 3 tablespoons Cornstarch #2 can crushed pineapple and -- juice (2 1/2 cups) Mix in saucepan sugar, salt and cornstarch. Stir in pineapple. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil 1 minute. Pour into pastry lined pie pan. QUICKLY cover with top crust which has slits cut in it.
