* Exported from MasterCook * French Silk Pie Recipe By : Mom Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pies & Pastry Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate squares 1/2 cup butter -- softened 3/4 cup sugar 2 eggs 1 cup cool whip 1 baked 9″ pastry shell 3/4 cup whipping cream 2 tablespoons powdered sugar shaved chocolate Melt chocolate. Let cool. Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed until light & fluffy. Stir in chocolate. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes after each addition. Fold in cool whip and spoon mixture into pastry shell. Chill about 2 hours. Beat whipping cream until foamy, gradually add powdered sugar, heating until soft peaks form.
