       Title: Lime Meringue Pie

       4    Eggs; separated
      14 oz Sweetened condensed milk
     1/2 c  Lime juice
       1    Graham cracker crust
            -(9-inch)
     1/2 ts Cream of tartar
     1/4 c  Plus 2 tablespoons sugar

   Preparation Time: 0:20
   Beat egg yolks at medium speed of an electric mixer until
   thick and lemon colored.  Add sweetened condensed milk and
   juice, stirring well.  Spoon filling into graham cracker
   crust. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar at high speed of
   an electric mixer 1 minute.  Gradually add sugar, 1
   tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff peaks form and
   sugar dissolves (2 to 4 minutes).  Spread meringue  over
   filling, sealing to edge of pastry.  Bake at 350 degrees
   for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Yield: one
   9-inch pie.
