       Title: Key Lime Meringue Pie

       4    Eggs; separated
      14 oz Sweetened condensed milk
     1/3 c  Sifted powdered sugar
     1/3 c  Key lime juice
       1    Graham cracker crust
            -(9-inch)
     1/2 ts Cream of tartar
     1/4 c  Plus 2 tablespoons, sugar

   Preparation Time: 0:20
   Beat egg yolks at medium speed of an electric mixer until
   thick and lemon colored.  Add sweetened condensed milk,
   powdered sugar, and Key lime juice, stirring well.  Spoon
   filling into crust. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar at
   high speed of an electric mixer 1 minute.  Gradually add
   sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff peaks
   form and sugar dissolves (2 to 4 minutes).  Spread meringue
   over filling, sealing to edge of pastry.  Bake at 350
   degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Yield:
   one 9-inch pie.
