       1    Graham cracker ready crust
       1    Eggs; yolk slightly beaten
       8    Apples
       1 tb Lemon juice;if sweet apples
     1/2 c  Sugar
     1/4 c  Brown sugar
       3 tb Flour
     1/4 ts Salt
     1/2 ts Cinnamon
     1/4 ts Nutmeg
     3/4 c  Flour
     1/4 c  Sugar
     1/4 c  Brown sugar
     1/3 c  Margarine
  
     DIRECTIONS ~---- PREHEAT OVEN TO 375F. BRUSH BOTTOM AND SIDES OF CRUST
   EVENLY WITH YOLK. BAKE ON BAKING SHEET UNTIL LIGHT BROWN, ABOUT 5 MIN.
   REMOVE CRUST FROM OVEN. COMBINE SLICED APPLES, LEMON JUICE, 1/2 C SUGAR,
   1/4 C BROWN SUGAR 3 T FLOUR, SALT CINNAMON AND NUTMEG. MIX WELL.AND SPOON
   INTO CRUST. MIX REMAINING FLOUR, SUGAR, BROWN SUGAR AND BUTTER WITH FORK OR
   PASTRY BLENDER UNTIL CRUMBLY. SPRINKLE THIS TOPPING OVER APPLES. BAKE ON
   BAKING SHEET UNTIL TOPPING IS GOLDEN AND FILLING IS BUBBLING , ABOUT 50
   MIN. COOL ON WIRE RACK. SERVE AT ROOM TEMP. SERVES 8.
