---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Sylvia’s Apple Pie Categories: Pies, Fruits Yield: 6 Servings 1 1/2 c Flour 1 1/2 ts Sugar 1 ts Salt 1/2 c Mazola oil 2 tb Milk Apples to fill 9″ pie pan Cinnamon Butter or margarine Put first 3 ingredients into pie pan. Mix together the oil and milk and add to flour. Mix together well and shape in pan. Spread 3 tbsp. flour and 3 tbsp. sugar in uncooked pie crust. Add sliced apples. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Dot with butter or oleo. Add a little water. Bake a 350 degrees for 45 - 55 minutes. (Sylvia Collins) NOTE: Sylvia was a dear friend of my mother’s and had been a widow for a number of years. She liked to bake, but it had to be simple and her apple pie is very simple.
