---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Crunchy Apple Pie Categories: Pies Yield: 8 Servings DOLORES MCCANN (BSWN00A) 2 c Chopped cooking apples 1/2 c Brown sugar, packed 1/2 c Granualated sugar 1/2 c Flour Egg 1/2 ts Vanilla 1/2 ts Fresh-sqeezed lemon juice 1/2 c Chopped pecans One 9-inch unbaked pie shell. Put chopped apples in a large bowl. Separate egg yolk and egg white into two small mixing bowls. Beat egg yolk and mix well with sugar, flour, vanilla, lemon juice and pecans; add to chopped apples. Beat egg white until foamy; add to apple mixture. Stir well and pour mixture into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees 30-45 minutes or until apples are tender and brown.
