---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Cran-Apple Pie Categories: Fruits, Pies Yield: 8 Servings 2 c Apples; sliced 2/3 c Sugar 1/3 c Packed brown sugar 3 tb Cornstarch 1 tb Apple jelly 1/2 ts Cinnamon 3 tb Butter or margarine 2 c Cranberries 1 9 inch pie crust; unbaked 1/3 c Pecans; chopped Recipe by: Sue Klapper Preparation Time: 0:40 Combine first 7 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly; stir in cranberries. Pour into pastry shell; sprinkle with pecans. Bake at 400 for 35 to 40 minutes or until set, covering edges with aluminum foil after 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Yield: 1 pie.
