---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Norwegian Apple Pie Categories: Pies, Low-cal, Fruits Yield: 6 Servings 1 Egg (or 2 egg whites or -egg substitute -equivalent to 1 egg) 3/4 c Sugar 1 ts Vanilla extract 1 ts Baking powder 1/2 c Flour 1/2 c Chopped walnuts 1 c Dice apples Beat egg, sugar, vanilla extract and baking powder together until smooth and fluffy. Beat in the flour until smooth and well blended. Stir in walnuts and apples. Turn into a lightly greased 8-inch pie plate and bake at 350F for 30 minutes. Pie will puff up as it cooks, then collapse as it cools. Serve warm, topped with a scoop of ice milk. Yield: 8 serings at approx. 170 calories/serving (or 270 with ie milk).
