* Exported from MasterCook * Taffy Apple Salad Recipe By : Shreiner Family cookbook Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salads Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 20 ounces chunk pineappple 2 cups miniature marshmallows 1/2 cup sugar 1 tablespoon flour 1 egg -- well beaten 1/2 teaspoon vinegar 12 ounces Cool Whip 2 quarts unpeeled apples -- diced 1 1/2 cups spanish peanuts Drain pineapple and save juice. Mix pineapple and marshmallows in a bowl, refr igerate overnight. In a saucepan, mix pineapple juice, sugar, egg, flour, and vinegar. Cook over medium heat. Stir until pudding-like. Refrigerate overnig ht in same kettle.
