       Title: Sautéed Cherry Tomatoes
  Categories: Side dish, Vegetables
       Yield: 4 Servings
 
       1    To 2 tablespoons pesto
       1 pt Cherry tomatoes
            Pinch of granulated sugar
            Lots of freshly ground
            -pepper
 
   Heat pesto in a fry pan over medium-high heat.  When
   hot, add tomatoes. Sprinkle with sugar.  Saute and
   toss until tomatoes are heated through and coated with
   pesto.  Do not let tomatoes burst.  Season generously
   with pepper.  Serves 4
 
   *Instead of pesto, saute tomatoes in butter or olive
   oil.  Sprinkle with chopped fresh basil or your
   favorite fresh herbs. *Saute 1 minced onion in 1
   tablespoon butter until soft.  Add tomatoes and saute
   until warm.  Add 1 teaspoon brown sugar and 1 teaspoon
   dried basil. *Saute 1 minced clove garlic with 1/4 cup
   bread crumbs in 1-2 tablespoons butter until lightly
   toasted.  Toss with sautéed cherry tomatoes.   Typed
