                           Marinated Flank Steak

     1/4 c  Corn oil
 
       2 tb Wine vinegar
 
       2 tb Soy sauce
 
       1 tb Chopped onion
 
       1    Clove garlic, minced
 
   1 1/2 ts Minced ginger root
 
       1 lb Flank steak
 
  
 
   In shallow glass baking dish, combine all ingredients except meat; add
 
   steak.  Cover; refrigerate, turning occasionally, several hours or
 
   overnight.  Remove steak from marinade.  Grill or broil 6 inches from heat,
 
   turning once, 8 minutes for medium rare or until desired doneness. Thinly
 
   slice diagonally across grain.
 
   
 
   Serves 4.
