* Exported from MasterCook * Meatloaf In Puff Pastry Recipe By : Miriam Podcameni Posvolsky Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Meats Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3/4 pounds ground pork 3/4 pounds ground veal 1/2 pound ground beef 1/2 pound ground bacon 1/2 pound diced ham 1 chopped shallot i2 T chopped parsley 1/2 teaspoon thyme 1 pinch cumin 12 pitted prunes (optional) 1 pinch nutmeg 1 egg 2 tablespoons olive oil salt and pepper 1 pound puff pastry 1 egg yolk Mix all ground meats with bacon,shallot ,olive oil ,herbs and spices.Season with salt and pepper.Stir in egg to blend well. Roll out dough into 1/4 inch thickness. Place half the meat mixture in the center of dough .
