    3      pounds        ground chuck
    3      small         onions -- diced
    3      cloves        garlic -- stuck on wooden
                          -- picks
      3/4  cup           green pepper -- diced
      1/2  cup           olive oil
    3      cups          canned tomatoes
   24      ounces        tomato sauce
    3      tablespoons   vinegar
    1      tablespoon    sugar
    1      tablespoon    salt
    4                    bay leaves
    3      tablespoons   capers
      3/4  teaspoon      oregano
    1 1/2  cups          raisins
 
 Saute ground chuck, onions, garlic and green pepper in olive oil until brown. R
 emove garlic and add tomatoes, tomato sauce, vinegar, sugar, salt, bay leaves, 
 capers, oregano and raisins. Chill quickly and freeze in portions suitable for 
 your family . 
 
 To serve: Defrost, simmer 30 minutes in covered pot. Serve with spaghetti.
