                             Polish Pork Chops

   24                    pork chops
      3/4  cup           onion -- chopped
   24      ounces        tomato paste
    2      cups          sour cream
    3      tablespoons   dry sherry
    1      small         dill pickle -- chopped
                         salt and pepper -- to taste
 
 Brown pork chops on both sides  in skillet. Cover, reduce heat and cook slowly,
  about 15 minutes. Add onion and tomato paste. Chill quickly and freeze in port
 ions suitable for your family. 
 
 To serve:
 Defrost and cook for 15 minutes, until chops are tender and heated through.
 
 Add 1/2 cup sour cream for every four servings. Simmer and stir in dry sherry, 
 pickle, salt and pepper.
