          LOW-FAT, LOW-SODIUM SUBSTITUTE FOR CREAM OF CHICKEN SOUP

    2      cups          nonfat dry milk powder
      3/4  cup           cornstarch
      1/4  cup           unsalted instant chicken bouillon
                         -- granules
    2      tablespoons   dried onion flakes -- or 1 teaspoon onion
                         -- powder
    1      teaspoon      dried basil
    1      teaspoon      dried thyme
      1/2  teaspoon      pepper
 
 Blend ingredients.  When ready to use, combine 1/3 cup soup substitute mix
 with 1 1/4 cups water to equal 1 can of soup.
