    2      Tbsp          Anise Seed
    1 1/2  Tsp           Fennel Seed
    1 1/2  Tsp           Ground Coriander
    1      Fifth         Vodka
                         sugar syrup, 1-2 cups to taste
 
 If the anise and fennel seeds are first worked in a mortar, the flavor
 will be a little stronger.  Add the spices to the vodka, and let them
 steep for one week.  Shake the jar occasionally during the steeping
 period.  Strain through cheesecloth several times. Add one cup of the
 syrup; stir and taste.  If you prefer it sweeter, add more sugar syrup, a
 little at a time and keep tasting and stirring as you go.  Be careful
 that it is not all gone by the time you find it sweet enough!!
