1 cup brown sugar                  1 teaspoon butter
 1 cup boiling water                1/2 teaspoon vanilla
 1/2 cup sugar (ie: white sugar)                        
 1.   Combine brown sugar and water and bring to a boil.
 2.   Caramelize whte sugar by heating it in a frying pan until sugar 
      melts and turns brown.                                           
 3.   Add brown sugar syrup from step 1; simmer until smooth and thick.
 4.   Pour into a pitcher containing butter and vanilla.
