                               Busy Day Soup

    2      pounds        ground beef
   32      ounces        mixed vegetables
   56      ounces        tomatoes
   12      ounces        tomato sauce
    1                    onion -- chopped
    1      cup           barley
      1/2  cup           sugar
    8      cups          water -- more if needed
                         salt -- to taste
                         pepper -- to taste
 
 Brown ground beef and onions.  Drain.  Add rest of ingredients and
 cook for at least 1 hour.
 
 MAKES ALOT !!!!!!!!
