               Strawberries With Molasses Sour Cream Sauce

   1      cup           sour cream
   1      teaspoon      sugar
     1/4  teaspoon      vanilla
   4      tablespoons   unsulfered molasses
   2      pints         strawberries -- hulled, and if
                        -- large halved

In a small bowl whisk together sour cream, sugar, vanilla and 2 tablespoons mol
asses until smooth. Divide strawberries between 4 bowls and top with sour cream
 sauce. Drizzle remaining molasses over servings.

Yield: 4 servings
