* Exported from MasterCook * Glazed popcorn and nuts Recipe By : Barb Budimulija Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Appetizers And Munchies Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 quarts popped corn 3 cups mixed nuts 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup Margarine 1/2 cup syrup 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 teaspoon baking soda Stir together popcorn and nuts in a large shallow roasting pan. In a heavy 2 q uart saucepan, stir together sugar, margerine, syrup and salt. Stirring consta ntly, bring to a boil over medium heat. Without stirring, boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in vanill and baking soda. Pour over popcorn and nuts, stirring to coat well. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
